Magazine count reminder
The programming mode is entered by ensuring the gun is unloaded, in the safe position, pointing the muzzle in a safe direction (down) and pulling the trigger, then switch the safety catch to FIRE. The gun will then beep and flash indicating that the gun is in program mode. If the trigger is kept pulled, the gun will cycle through its programming mode and will beep and flash the appropriate amount of times, indicating the mode it is in.
Magazine Counter and Operation
The magazine counter operates by blinking once on the 9th shot as a pre-warning and beeping and blinking twice after 10 shots, representing the 10 shot capacity of the magazine. The magazine counter is set to 10 shots and cannot be altered. After the 10th shot the rifle will stop firing and a beep and click will act as a reminder. Re-set the safety catch to continue shooting. Should the counter get out of synchronism with the magazine, for instance after a "dry" shot is accidentally fired with an empty magazine, then the counter can be resynchronised easily by the shooter. On the Air Wolf, if the magazine counter and shot counter coincide to provide warnings, 6 beeps and blinks will be given indicating both events have occurred.
Resynchronising The Magazine Counter
- Ensure that the gun is unloaded and the safety switch is in the safe position
- Ensure the isolator switch is set to on and the gun is pointed in a safe direction. Pull the trigger and then switch the safety switch to FIRE with the trigger still pulled. A red light will be on
- A single beep will be heard and the LED will blink once, release the trigger and the shot counter will be reset. The gun will be ready for firing
Switching The Magazine Counter On and Off
The magazine counter can be disabled, for instance when the gun is used with the loading tray instead of the magazine in single shot mode.
- Ensure that the gun is unloaded and the safety switch is in the SAFE position
- Ensure the isolator switch is set to on and the gun is pointed in a safe direction. Pull the trigger and then switch the safety switch to FIRE with the trigger still pulled. A red light will be on
- A single beep will be heard and the LED will blink once, keep the trigger pulled so that there is a series of beeps and blinks given at 3 second periods
- AIR WOLF: release the trigger when 5 beeps and blinks are noted
- MK4: release the trigger when 3 beeps and blinks are noted
- MVT models: release the trigger when 6 beeps and blinks are noted
- When the trigger is pulled the programming will toggle between on and off, one beep and blink for off, 2 beeps and blinks for on
- When the required setting has been selected, switch the safety switch to SAFE; the magazine counter status is now programmed
