British Shooting Show

The British Shooting Show continues to set new standards each year, and 2026 proved to be one of the strongest editions yet. For us at Daystate, it was our biggest and most ambitious presence to date

We unveiled a 140-square-metre main stand alongside our four-hide “Safari Experience” shooting area, giving visitors the opportunity to test four rifles from a lineup of eight premium Daystate and BRK Brocock models on a dedicated 25-metre range. The hands-on experience was a real highlight and kept our team busy throughout the weekend.
Footfall was strong across all three days, with Friday in particular delivering exceptional energy and sales. The overall atmosphere was extremely positive, reinforcing the show’s importance within the industry.
The British Shooting Show benefits from being open to the public and remains a key date in our calendar. We’re already looking forward to returning next February.

Daystate Goes Bigger Than Ever

at the 2026 British Shooting Show

Daystate has confirmed it will unveil its largest and most ambitious stand ever at the 2026 British Shooting Show — promising visitors “the biggest and best” showcase in the company’s history.

The new 14 x 10 metre stand adds 80 square metres over Daystate’s previous footprint and will feature a full-size raised floor for the first time, improving accessibility while neatly concealing cabling.

At least four brand-new rifle models, unseen at the 2025 show, will be revealed alongside an expanded retail area featuring accessories from Daystate, BRK and MTC Optics Performance Centre.

Daystate and BRK will also debut a new “Safari Experience” shooting range, doubling range space and adding four new shooting hides. With a single £6 ticket, shooters can try four rifles from a selection of eight, engaging 16 targets in total — with a free ticket for those who knock them all down.

With new products, a bigger stand and an enhanced shooting experience, Daystate is set to be a standout attraction at the 2026 British Shooting Show.

EXPERIENCE DAY SUCCESS

2025 Daystate BRK Experience Day heralded ‘huge success’

Airgun enthusiasts from across the country again took part in the the Daystate BRK Experience Day. An extravaganza of shooting, workshops and presentations, 2025’s event took place at the beautiful Sandon Hall in Staffordshire on 3rd and 4th July.

Each day, more than 150 shooters took advantage of the opportunity to try out the entire Daystate and BRK Brocock and ranges of rifles. Targets were set out to 120m and more than 10,000 pellets were shot!

Guidance and Advice

Guidance and advice were on hand from extreme benchrest experts Chris Jensen and World Champion Lauren Parsons. They travelled to the event from Arizona, USA. Members of the Daystate and BRK Airgunners’ Support Pack (ASP) provided range support for the 23 rifles on the outdoor ranges.

In addition, The Airgun Extra Show’s Mat Manning and Rich Saunders delivered presentations on  ‘Camouflage and Concealment’  and ‘How to get a Shooting Permission’.

For the more technically minded, the Sub 12 Airgunners team was on hand to answer tuning questions, along with the testing and assembly team from BRK and Daystate to explain how the rifles work and how to service them.

Helping to round out the Experience Days were stands from Killgerm Training,  specialist tuning and accessory company PRS and the Staffordshire Red Squirrel Initiative whose  Red Squirrel Conservation Team were on hand to raise awareness of the threat posed by grey squirrels and advise how to control them.

Goodie Bags

If all that wasn’t enough, every attendee was presented with a goodie bag with a retail value of £152.00.

Perhaps the happiest attendees were Michael D and Peter E. They took home the top raffle prizes of a BRK Ghost SE and Daystate Blackwolf.

“Everyone had a great time. There were plenty of guns to shoot and lots of opportunity to chat to the experts and fellow airgun enthusiasts,” says Tony Belas.

“The 2025 BRK and Daystate and Experience was a resounding success and I would like to pass my congratulations to the 35 Daystate and BRK staff that were involved in organising and putting it on, as well as the 250 visitors who came determined to enjoy themselves. They really made it a wonderful couple of days…It couldn’t have gone better”.

Terry gets an email from Daystate, asking him to test the brand-new Alpha Wolf

he email from Daystate’s Tony Belas simply stated that, ‘the new Alpha Wolf will be with you tomorrow, exactly three weeks before its official launch, and we’d like you to put as many pellets through it as your schedule allows. There will be a .22 barrel kit with it, plus a .22 magazine, and we’d like you to see for yourself how easy it is to swap calibres. All input welcome – give it some serious stick!’

Well, there’s a communication designed to brighten a gloomy Monday morning. So it was that I cleared a Wednesday window in my minor publishing executive schedule, and spent Tuesday with my ear cocked, listening for the delivery person’s arrival. The package was
delivered, mid-morning, and, consummate professional that I am, I dropped everything I was doing and headed straight for my club to shoot the Alpha Wolf for a couple of hours. I learned a great deal from that first session, and from many subsequent ones, but before I tell you what this remarkable new, all-electronic rifle is all about, I need to establish what it isn’t.
