Rotatable Probe Filler Port Dust Cover – Huntsman Revere and Regal (regulated)
This Rotatable Probe Filler Port Dust Cover fits Daystate Huntsman Revere and Regal PCP rifles. The cover sleeves the end of the main air cylinder and rotates so that the filler port is exposed for filling.
Use
For use on Daystate’s Huntsman Revere and Huntsman Regal air rifle models factory-fitted with a Huma-Air regulator. (These use a push-in fill probe for charging.)
Start by rotating the cover so that the notch aligns with the filler port aperture. This will let you push in your filler probe so that you can then recharge the rifle with air.
After use, pull out the filler probe. Then simply rotate the dust cover so that the filler port is no longer exposed. This protects the the main charging inlet valve (filler port) from dirt ingress.
Important maintenance
Keeping your PCP rifle’s filler port free from dirt and grit is essential for maintaining its performance. Dirty valves will affect the seal and can cause any PCP to leak. If the Rotatable Filler Port Cover of your regulated Daystate Huntsman Revere of Huntsman Regal sustains damage, you should replace it!
Fitting
This replacement component is easy to fit. Simply pull off the old unit, and push on the new one. Tip: Add a little grease around the O-rings so that the cover can rotate smoothly.
Important: Before you work on your rifle, always ensure the rifle is uncocked, unloaded and the safety applied.
