B-STOCK Wolverine Stock walnut #169

Ambidextrous, for non-regulated models

This is a B-STOCK Wolverine ambidextrous Sporter Stock in walnut (#169). It will fit all non-regulated Wolverine models that do not have the twin manometer cut-out on the side of the stock. It is genuine Daystate factory replacement woodwork and fully functional, but due to some slight blemishes or other reasons, it is not in the condition Daystate considers ‘new’. We are therefore able to offer it as a B-Stock item, at a reduced price that reflects the imperfections.

What is B-Stock?

A ‘B-Stock’ item is a product which we consider is not ‘new’ (or ‘A-stock’) for a number of reasons. It may be because there is some cosmetic flaw, imperfection or damage, that spoils the look of the item, but which does not stop it from properly functioning. In some cases, it may be a test item that’s been returned, so we can no longer sell it as new. We offer such B-Stock products at a one-off, reduced price and provide a fully outlined condition report of it. B-Stock items are inspected, tested and sold as being fully functional. They are also offered with a six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship. However, any flaws outlined in the B-Stock listing are not covered under this warranty.

Why you might want a B-Stock item

Unless stated to the contrary, all B-Stock items are guaranteed fully functional. While their reduced price is reflective of the flaws, it gives people the opportunity to acquire the item much more cheaply than if buying it new. In the case of a gun stock, it might be that you want to replace your tired-looking, existing stock. Or you may want to protect your current stock by using a cheaper replacement for the field or range. Or you may simply want to practise working on this stock with a bit of DIY woodworking, safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to ruin the factory stock fitted to your pride and joy!

Condition Report of this particular item

Our factory technicians have inspected this stock. They consider its condition to be B-Stock for the following reasons:

• The stock is very clean all round but has been factory upgraded with a QF swivel / bipod eyelet in the forend lip (a non-standard fitment)
• Otherwise, it appears in mint condition – so this is a rare opportunity to grab a spare walnut stock for your Wolverine at a vastly reduced price!

Please also refer to the images of the actual item in this B-Stock listing. We have endeavoured to show the flaws we consider make it unsuitable to be sold as ‘new’. The aforementioned flaws are reflected in the reduced price that this item is offered at.

Compatibility

This stock fits all non-regged Wolverine models (those without the twin manometers on the side). So, it can be used to change the livery and look of any Wolverine variant.

Notes: It will not fit any Wolverine-R (regulated) models. Also, it will not fit the original Wolverine 303 model.

Design and Features

This is the ‘third type’ Wolverine stock, which will fit all non-regulated Wolverine models. However, if you have a C-Type (cylinder) Wolverine v1 or v2 model, you will need to fit your existing polymer forend.

Our Wolverine stock is ambidextrous. It is expertly crafted from good quality walnut with contoured edges throughout. Its sporter design makes it one of the classiest looking, thumbhole sporter style stocks around.

It features a ventilated rubber butt pad and twin sided, ambi cheekpiece with sloping comb. This helps achieve perfect gunft and, also, optimal eye alignment with a scope.

The thumbhole pistol grip sports a gentle rake. Additionally, there are panels of stippling for your all-important trigger hand. The forestock also features stippled panels.

The Daystate logo is laser-etched into the belly of the stock, and a Wolverine head is incorporated into the grip’s stippling.

Fitting

The walnut sporter stock fits directly to your Wolverine‘s action using the existing stock bolt and trigger guard. (Note: The stock is not supplied with the bolt or guard.)

If you have a C-Type (cylinder) Wolverine v1 or v2 model, you will need to fit your existing polymer forend.

This stock will not fit Wolverine-R models (which feature the twin regulator manometer arrangement).
