£66.00 inc. Vat

The Short Throw Cocking Sidelever is designed for ultra-fast cycling of the action. It’s particularly favoured by speed shooters, and hunters who want the minimum of movement during the cocking process.

CNC-machined from aluminium, the unit features an extended handle for improved ergonomics. Can be user-fitted and works on either left- or right-hand side of action. Supplied with blanking plate to hide ‘gap’ left after removal of original cocking lever.

Fits the following Daystate PCP air rifle models:

  • Red Wolf
  • Pulsar
  • Renegade*
  • Wolverine-R*

* Note: There will be a slight increase in cocking and pellet-chambering effort on the mechanical models

Description

Short Throw Cocking Sidelever

The Short Throw Cocking Sidelever is designed for ultra-fast cycling. So this is the first choice of airgunners who use their magazine-fed Daystate PCP air rifles in speed shoots. Or where fast-action cocking is required. (See this video of Tony ‘Tomcat’ Adams speed shooting with his Daystate Red Wolf Midnight Edition at the 2022 World EBR Championships!)

This Short Throw Cocking Sidelever is designed for use with the following Daystate PCP air rifle models:

It features an ambidextrous design, so can be used to cock the above rifles from either the left- or right-side of the action. Swapping the orientation of the Sidelever is very easy and can be undertaken by most home or DIY gunsmiths with the minimum of tools.

Note: The Short Throw Cocking Sidelever is supplied with a blanking plate to fill the ‘gap’ that’s left when the original sidelever is swapped out.

Construction

CNC (computer numerically controlled) manufacturing methods precision machine this Sidelever from aluminium. A black anodized finish is then applied. This matches the finish of the rifles’ metalwork.

As well as the lever’s improved geometry, its handle has also been extended. This provided better ergonomics when speed shooting.

Important note:

As with any cocking lever with a ‘shorter throw’, cocking and pellet-chambering effort increases on air rifles with a mechanical action. This means you will see a light increase in effort when fitting to a Daystate Renegade or Wolverine-R.
