Daystate Cheekpiece Height Risers (Red Wolf & Blackwolf)
Daystate Cheekpiece Height Risers help increase the vertical positioning of the Red Wolf and Blackwolf cheek by another 15mm over the standard stock’s adjustment range. This is useful to help with improving eye to scope alignment. They are particularly needed when scopes have been fitted to the Red Wolf / Blackwolf using high mounts. Scopes with large front objective lenses need high mounts. Also scopes with parallax-adjustable objective bells often require high mounts. Additionally, some target shooters prefhttp://Blackwolfer to mount their scopes higher above the barrel to improve the sighting-to-trajectory relationship on longer-range targets. In such instances, raising the cheekpiece will improve gunfit. And a better handling rifle will always perform best!
Construction
The extender pins are made from stainless steel, and are finished in silver to match the Red Wolf’s / Blackwolf’s existing stock configuration. They will fit all Red Wolf and Blackwolf model stocks that feature a rise-and-fall, height-adjustable cheekpiece. The Height Risers allow an additional 15mm of vertical travel of the Red / BlackWolf’s cheekpiece.
Fitting
The Risers are easy to fit to a Red Wolf or Blackwolf stock.
Red Wolf
Simply remove the existing cheekpiece by slackening off the holding screw in the butt. Then unscrew the existing factory-fitted extender pins… and screw in the new Height Risers. Refit the cheekpiece and set the cheek to the required height.
