Latest 3D Composite Printing Technology
The Gecko Slimline Anti-Slip Butt Pad is a 3D composite Performance Center upgrade. This newly-designed version is now fitted as standard to Blackwolf TAC (Tactical) and Zero models manufactured from mid-2026. Earlier versions of these models are fitted with the standard Gecko pad, here, which will also fit many other Daystate PCPs. Presently, the Slimline pad will fit the following Daystate PCP models:
- Blackwolf TAC (Tactical)
- Blackwolf Zero (all variants)
Construction
The Gecko is made using the latest 3D Composite Printing Technology.
3D Printing – or Additive Manufacturing – is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a computer-generated, digital design. This state-of-the-art manufacturing process is now incorporated into many world-leading industries, such as in aerospace and Formula 1 motorsport. It is therefore a natural choice for Daystate’s class-leading airguns, like the Blackwolf.
Design
By utilising state-of-the-art 3D Additive Manufacturing processes, we have incorporated special rubber inserts. This means the Gecko will not slip in your shoulder. A firm anchor is important for rifles as inherently accurate as Daystate PCPs. So, both target shooters and hunters will benefit from this upgrade. This Slimline version is 10mm shorter than the standard Gecko Anti-Slip Butt Pad. It measures 26 x 26 x 124mm (DxWxL).
Enhanced Grip & Shooting Stability
The Gecko Slimline has been designed to improve rifle control and shoulder stability when shooting. Integrated rubber grip inserts help prevent movement in the shoulder pocket, thus giving you a more secure and repeatable shooting position. This added stability is especially beneficial for:
- Precision target shooting
- Benchrest competition
- Hunting
- Lengthier shooting sessions
Lightweight Performance Upgrade
This Slimline version offers the following improvements over the standard pad, namely:
- Shallower profile for improved trigger positioning
- Anti-slip rubber inserts for enhanced grip in the shoulder
- Lightweight composite design that maintains rifle balance
- Improved comfort and handling without adding unnecessary weight
Fitting
The Gecko Slimline Butt Pad is easy to fit using standard workshop tools (5mm hex wrench). It comes with replacement fitting screw and is designed as a simple direct-fit replacement for the standard Gecko Pad that’s fitted to all Blackwolf TAC and Zero models manufactured before mid-2026. So, you do not need any specialist gunsmithing experience.
