Your warranty may not apply if a fault has occurred due to fair wear and tear or failure due to misuse or abuse or the fitting of non-standard or aftermarket parts such as aftermarket silencers, springs, and batteries. Water damage to wooden stocks is not covered. Daystate or its approved agents must carry out all maintenance and warranty work and the air rifle must be maintained and used as outlined in the official handbook. The use of ammunition not recommended in the handbook is not warrantied for accuracy purposes.

 

The small print

Daystate three year Warranty

• Daystate guarantees that rifles are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years
• The warranty is intended for the original purchaser. By registering online, the remaining warranty on some models* can be transferred to  subsequent owners if they also register the air rifle within seven days  of purchase . This should be supported with a dated receipt
• The warranty commences on date of sale, shown on the sales receipt
• The original receipt must be/have been provided for the purposes of a warranty claim
• Rifles should be used as outlined in the Daystate official handbook supplied with the rifle. The correct handbook can viewed and downloaded here
• Other than signs of intended use, rifles should not show any evidence of having been tampered with, or been abused in any way in a manner not in keeping with the purpose for which it was designed
• The owner is responsible for returning the air rifle to Daystate (see below). The company reserves the right to charge return postage
• This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect your legal rights in your own country or region
• Warranty excludes additional losses and expenses direct or indirect
• The warranty is subject to the laws of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In other regions, local laws apply and can be supplied by the local importing agent

Exclusions

• Damage, whether accidental or due to misuse (including damage due to the use of accessories, such as telescopic sights, bolt-on accessories and rife cases etc., is excluded from the terms of the warranty. The warranty extends to official 0dB silencers, and does not cover accuracy issues caused by third party silencers.
• Where an air rifle cannot effectively be repaired under a legitimate warranty claim, Daystate will provide a replacement rifle, not a refund
• In the case of an obsolete air rifle model requiring replacement, a current alternative air rifle of at least equivalent specification and value will be substituted
• The three year warranty is subject to the completion of the online registration without which warranty will revert to statutory limitations.

For warranty service

• Initially contact your place of purchase. They will refer to Daystate or a local agent and advise the action to be taken
• If dealer support is not available, contact technical@daystate.com prior to returning the air rifle to the address below. You are responsible for the cost and security of this return
• After receipt of a returned air rifle, Daystate will contact you within 48 hours (weekends and bank holidays excluded) and keep you informed of the status of your warranty claim
