This is a B-STOCK Pulsar Stock in Green Composite (#184); also fits Renegade. Green colour stock models were extremely rare and this is a Soft Touch finish. It is genuine Daystate factory replacement stock and fully functional, but due to some slight blemishes or other reasons, it is not in the condition Daystate considers ‘new’. We are therefore able to offer it as a B-Stock item, at a reduced price that reflects the imperfections (see condition report below).

What is B-Stock?

A ‘B-Stock’ item is a product which we consider is not ‘new’ (or ‘A-stock’) for a number of reasons. It may be because there is some cosmetic flaw, imperfection or damage, that spoils the look of the item, but which does not stop it from properly functioning. In some cases, it may be a test item that’s been returned, so we can no longer sell it as new. We offer such B-Stock products at a one-off, reduced price and provide a fully outlined condition report of it. B-Stock items are inspected, tested and sold as being fully functional. They are also offered with a six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship. However, any flaws outlined in the B-Stock listing are not covered under this warranty.

Why you might want a B-Stock item

Unless stated to the contrary, all B-Stock items are guaranteed fully functional. While their reduced price is reflective of the flaws, it gives people the opportunity to acquire the item much more cheaply than if buying it new. In the case of a gun stock, it might be that you want to replace your tired-looking, existing stock. Or you may want to protect your current stock by using a cheaper replacement for the field or range. Or you may simply want to practise working on this stock with a bit of DIY woodworking, safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to ruin the factory stock fitted to your pride and joy!

Condition Report of this particular item

Our factory technicians have inspected this stock. They consider its condition to be B-Stock for the following reasons:

• Small dent on the right hand side at the rear
• There a general (light) marks all over, but the Soft Touch (over plastic) remains good
• No plastic inserts (you can easily transfer these from your existing stock)
• No grip provided (you can easily transfer this from your existing stock)
• No butt pad / fittings (you can easily transfer this from your existing stock)

Please also refer to the images of the actual item in this B-Stock listing. We have endeavoured to show the flaws we consider make it unsuitable to be sold as ‘new’. The aforementioned flaws are reflected in the reduced price that this item is offered at.

Compatibility

This green composite Soft Touch stock fits all current Pulsar models, regardless of configuration. Therefore, this can be used as direct replacement livery for any Pulsar laminate model. It can also be used to change the livery and look of any Synthetic model. Additionally, it will fit the mechanical Renegade model.

Design and Features

This stock is ambidextrous, so it can be used by right- and left-handed shooters. It is expertly crafted from composite, so it is a classy looking, bullpup style stock.

A viewing pane is inlet into the left side of the stock. This allows you to see the Pulsar’s LCD display screen, as fitted to its electronic action. “Daystate” has been laser-etched into both sides of the stock.

Fitting

This stock fits directly to any Pulsar model’s action using the rifle’s existing fixing bolts and trigger guard. (Note: The stock is not supplied with the bolt or guard.)
